This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on odyn.app, our website, and on my.odyn.app, the Odyn app. “Similar technologies” are the other ways a website stores or reads information on your device: local storage, session storage, IndexedDB and the cache of the app’s service worker. The law treats them the same way as cookies (§ 25 TDDDG), and so does this policy.
Storage without which the website or the app cannot do what you asked of it: keep you signed in, remember your cookie choice, keep an import you have started, remember the settings you chose. § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG exempts it from consent.
Google Analytics measures how the website and the app are used and whether our Google Ads lead to sign-ups. Neither needs it, so it runs only after you press “Accept analytics”. Until then nothing from Google Analytics is loaded and no request is sent to Google.
There is nothing else. Odyn does not use retargeting, personalised advertising or social media cookies.

If you accept, Google Analytics records which pages and features are used, whether a visit came from one of our Google Ads and led to a sign-up, and technical information such as browser, device and approximate location. Google signals, retargeting and personalised advertising are switched off. Odyn never sends Google your name, your email address, your account ID or anything about your portfolio. How Google processes this data, including transfers to the United States, is described in our Privacy Statement.
If you choose Google Sign-In, Google shows its own sign-in window and sets its own cookies on google.com, under Google’s policies. The sign-in runs through auth.odyn.app, where Firebase Authentication may keep the state of the sign-in in session storage until it completes.
Checkout runs on the website of Creem, our merchant of record. Cookies set there are Creem’s, under Creem’s own policy.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you made it: open the cookie settings and press the other button. Withdrawing stops Google Analytics straight away and deletes its cookies from your browser. It does not affect anything processed before you withdrew.
The cookie settings are also in the footer of every page of this website and next to the legal links in the app.
Your browser can also block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out of the app and may stop parts of it from working.
We update this policy when what we store changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
