Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026 · Applies to all Odyn subscriptions purchased from this date.
1. Who you are dealing with
Odyn is operated by Andrii Ivasiuk, a sole trader established in Germany, at Kinzigstr. 30, 10247 Berlin, Germany, contactable at support@odyn.app.
When you subscribe you enter into two separate contracts. The purchase itself is made from Armitage Labs OÜ (trading as Creem), Rotermanni 14, Tallinn 10111, Estonia, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for that transaction. Your use of Odyn is governed by a separate contract with us, on our Terms & Conditions.
What that means in practice:
- Creem takes the payment, handles any applicable VAT, issues your invoice, and carries out refunds and card disputes. We never see or store your card details.
- We provide and operate the service, support you, hold your personal data, and decide whether a refund is due under this policy. Creem then carries that refund out on our instruction.
- Creem may also refund a payment on its own initiative under its buyer terms.
- Whatever your question, you can start with us at support@odyn.app. We will involve Creem where the answer sits with them.
2. What Odyn is, and what this policy does not cover
Odyn is a platform for bringing your own financial data together in one place and tracking it. We do not provide investment, tax or legal advice, we do not manage money, and we make no representation about the future performance of anything you record in Odyn.
It follows that refunds under this policy are not affected by how your assets have performed, and are not available as compensation for investment decisions, gains or losses.
This policy sets out what we offer you voluntarily and how the statutory routes work in practice. It does not limit any statutory right you have — in particular your right of withdrawal (section 4) and your rights where the service itself is defective (section 6). Where this policy and your statutory rights overlap, whichever is more favourable to you applies.
3. Free trial
Odyn is free for 30 days. No card is required to start, and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
When the trial ends, your account becomes read-only. You keep access to everything you have added and can continue to view and export it. Subscribing restores the ability to add and update data. Because no payment is taken, there is nothing to refund in respect of a trial.
4. Your statutory right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, without giving any reason. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, tell us clearly that you wish to do so — by email to support@odyn.app, by post to Andrii Ivasiuk, Kinzigstr. 30, 10247 Berlin, Germany, or using the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy. You do not have to use that form, and any clear statement will do. Sending your message before the 14 days expire is enough to meet the deadline. On withdrawal we refund all payments received from you without undue delay and within 14 days at the latest, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you.
Starting to use Odyn during the 14 days. Your access begins as soon as you subscribe, so that you can use what you have paid for straight away. The law would permit us to keep a proportionate amount for the days you had the service if you then withdrew. We have chosen not to do that.
- If you withdraw within the 14 days, we refund everything you have paid, in full. We do not charge you for the days you used, and there is nothing you need to do beyond telling us.
- Starting to use Odyn does not take away your right of withdrawal. We do not treat a subscription term as fully performed within the withdrawal period, so the right does not lapse on that basis either.
This right exists independently of the guarantee in section 5, and nothing in this policy restricts it.
5. 30-day money-back guarantee on annual plans
Separately from, and in addition to, your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary guarantee.
If an annual plan is not right for you, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. This guarantee applies to annual plans. Monthly plans are not covered by it — a monthly plan can simply be cancelled before its next renewal, so at most one month is ever at stake — but your statutory rights under sections 4 and 6 apply to every plan.
The terms are deliberately simple:
- You do not need to give a reason.
- Email support@odyn.app within the 30 days. We aim to confirm within 2 business days and instruct the refund immediately on approval.
- The guarantee applies to your first annual subscription term, once per customer. It does not apply to renewal payments, which are covered by sections 4, 6 and 7 instead.
- On refund, your subscription ends and your account returns to read-only. Your data stays available to view and export.
6. If the service is defective
Alongside the withdrawal right and the guarantee, you have statutory rights if Odyn is not what it should be. As a digital service supplied to a consumer, Odyn has to match what was agreed and what you can reasonably expect of a service of this kind — including the public statements we have made about it — and we have to supply the updates needed to keep it that way (§§ 327 ff. BGB).
If it is not, tell us at support@odyn.app. You are entitled to have the problem put right within a reasonable period and at no cost to you. If we fail to do that, or the problem persists, you may reduce the price or end the contract and be refunded the price for the period during which the service was not as it should be. Ending the contract on this basis is not available where the defect is only minor.
These rights are not limited by anything in this policy, do not depend on the 14-day or 30-day windows, and are not affected by how much you have used Odyn. Section 12 of our Terms & Conditions sets them out more fully.
7. Cancelling, renewal and refunds after the guarantee period
You can cancel at any time using the cancellation button on our website. It is permanently available and reachable without logging in, you do not have to give a reason, and you do not have to contact us first. You may also cancel from Billing inside your account or by email to support@odyn.app if either is easier — those are additional routes, never conditions. We confirm every cancellation in text form, stating when we received it and the date it takes effect. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled. Cancel before the next renewal date and you are not charged again. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Annual plans run for an initial 12-month term, charged in full at the start. After that initial term the subscription does not renew for a second fixed year: it continues for an indefinite period and you may end it at any time on one month's notice. You are never locked into a second fixed year.
We will remind you by email before any annual renewal, in good time to cancel if you wish.
Outside the withdrawal period and the guarantee, payments for a term already begun are not refunded on a pro-rata basis, and you keep full access for the remainder of that term. This does not affect the situations covered by section 6, or where the service has not been provided.
8. When we may refuse or reverse a refund
We may decline a request under section 5 where the account has been used in breach of our Terms & Conditions, or where the guarantee has already been claimed on the same account or by the same person. We will tell you why.
We do not refuse refunds on the basis of how much you used Odyn during the period. This section applies to the voluntary guarantee only: it does not apply to your statutory rights under sections 4 and 6, which we cannot refuse.
9. How refunds reach you
Creem returns refunds to the original payment method. Allow up to 14 days, though it is usually faster; the final step depends on your bank or card issuer.
Refunds include any tax charged and are made in the currency you paid. Where your card was charged in a different currency, your bank's exchange rate at the time of the refund may mean the amount you receive differs slightly from the amount debited. That difference is set by your bank and is outside our control.
10. If a charge looks wrong
If you think a charge is incorrect, please email support@odyn.app first so that we can look into it and put it right quickly. Most questions are resolved within a day or two, and going through us is usually the fastest route to your money.
This is a request, not a condition. It does not affect any statutory right you have, or any right you have through your bank or card issuer to dispute a payment, and we will not close or restrict your account because you have exercised one.
11. Price changes
If our prices change, we will tell you in advance. A change never affects a billing period you have already paid for. If a change applies to your next renewal and you do not want it, cancel before that date.
12. Your data after cancellation or refund
Cancelling or taking a refund does not delete your data. Your account becomes read-only and you can continue to view and export what you have added. If you want your data deleted, ask us at support@odyn.app and we will act on your request in line with our Privacy Statement.
13. Contact and dispute resolution
Billing and refund questions: support@odyn.app.
We are not obliged, and are not willing, to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).
Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in this policy.
